Our mission
Looking straight into the lens while you talk is one of the hardest parts of making video. Notes pull your eyes away, and most teleprompter apps hide the basics behind a download, a sign-up, or a subscription. We built TeleprompterLab to remove all of that friction. Paste your script, set a pace, and start reading — the whole thing takes about ten seconds and works on any device with a browser.
What makes us different
- Genuinely free. Every feature — voice scroll, the timer, mirror mode, and the font and speed controls — is available to everyone at no cost. No trials, no upgrades, no watermark.
- Private by design. Your script never leaves your device. It is saved locally in your own browser so it is still there when you return, and nothing is uploaded to a server.
- Hands-free voice scroll. The script listens to your voice and keeps pace with you, so a natural pause or an ad-lib never leaves the text running ahead.
- Works everywhere. The same tool runs on your phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop, and slots neatly beside a Zoom, Teams, or Meet call.

TeleprompterLab is an independent project maintained by a small team that cares about fast, focused, respectful software.
